California MTBE Research Partnership Reports (Downloadable)
The California MTBE Research Partnership was established in 1997 to direct a statewide research program to investigate and develop methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) treatment technology and source water protection issues. It was a cooperative program formed by:
- Association of California Water Agencies
- Oxygenated Fuels Association
- Western States Petroleum Association
- National Water Research Institute
The California MTBE Research Partnership released a number of significant reports that investigate treatment technologies for MTBE, a gasoline additive that has contaminated various surface and ground water supplies throughout California.
The MTBE reports can be viewed and downloaded here.
